DIAL 000 IN AN EMERGENCY

In an emergency, always dial Triple Zero (000) for police, fire or ambulance.

  • Is someone seriously injured or in need of urgent medical help?
  • Is your life or property being threatened?
  • Have you just witnessed a serious accident or crime?

If you answered YES call Triple Zero (000). Triple Zero calls are free.

When you call Triple Zero (000)

  • Do you want Police, Fire or Ambulance?
  • Stay calm, don't shout, speak slowly and clearly.
  • Tell us exactly where to come. Give an address or location.

State Emergency Service (SES) flood and storm assistance

Telephone: 132 500 for help with a damaged roof, rising flood water, trees fallen on buildings, or storm damage.

Road conditions and closures

For road closures during an emergency visit the South Australia Police Road Closures page.

For outback roads, Outback Roads Temporary Closures, Restrictions and Warnings visit the Department for Planning, Transport and Infrastructure website or call 1300 361 033.

Power supply/outages

For dangerous situations or downed power lines call ETSA on 13 13 66.
